For us to provide professional RYA tuition courses and direct assessment several conditions would need to be met to ensure regulations are adhered to.
Your boat must have a valid BSS certificate and a valid CRT licence.
Have all the essential safety equipment and correct size anchor on board.
We have public liability however your boat must be insured and we advise you to check with your insurers that you are covered for receiving professional tuition provided on your own boat.
We are required to follow the RYA syllabus and that will require a minimum of 2 students onboard.
Teaching must take place on one of our local RYA approved routes showing emergency pick up locations.
Should your boat fail mechanically during the course, the pre-paid fee is not refunded.
Should you choose this option you would need to supply your post code for the marina ASAP so we can formulate a specific lesson plan and calculate the travel time and mileage costs.
